I've been obsessed with film ever since I was 3 years old.
I started screenwriting when I was 9 and practiced writing until I found my "voice" when I was 21.
I had long been trying to figure out a way to afford filmmaking equipment so I could start making my films. A week after I started making plans to buy filmmaking equipment I was struck by a car while crossing the street and was nearly killed. I was 17 at the time.
The following victories over my worker's compensation and personal injury cases got me the money to buy a MacPro computer with Final Cut Studio and a Canon XH-A1 HDV camera. I also compose music for my films with GarageBand on my Mac.
I started out small, filming bands as a way to practice coming up with good shots on the spot and under pressure as the action happens.
I finally started on my first short film, Reflection, during Summer of 2008 and had it posted online on January 30th, 2009.
