A graduate of USC School of Cinema-Television the production credits of Ryan Maples include American Express, Brother International, Dole Foods, Disney, AOL, County of Orange, Match.com, Restoration Hardware, and Current TV. As a Director he has worked with several high-profile companies to create branded content. His most recent work with American Express was a part of their national ad campaign for Small Business Saturday. Maples has an extensive background directing short form documentaries on internationally known electronic artists and a feature length documentary, Pass the Music on the Los Angeles indie rock scene. Maples has won awards for both his narrative shorts and corporate work. His short comedy film, Indestructible, played the festival circuit winning the audience award at the Dam Short Film Festival. In 2011 he was a finalist in the Nokia & Vimeo filmmaking challenge where his work premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. Most recently, Maples won several international awards for his spec commercial work, including a 1st place winner for Cannes Lions for an AT&T spot, a winning spot for spot for Sovereign/Santander. In 2013, Maples was the winner of an international short film competition sponsored and funded by Coca-Cola Zero.
