After years of making short films on Saturday mornings in high school, and serving two years as an AM camera operator at KRCR, Redding, CA’s ABC affiliate, I attended San Francisco’s Academy of Art University to study Cinematography. While in school, I produced and shot a thirty-minute wakeboarding film, Not For Sale, which was distributed and sold in both the US and Japan. For two years after school, I was the Videographer for Bassett., an ethnographic research company specializing in brand and design consulting for Nike.
A move to Los Angeles began my freelance career, working for Element Skateboards for the first half of 2007, before moving to Haiti and the Dominican Republic for one year to produce promotional videos to 25 humanitarian organizations, non-profits and Christian Missionaries.
Now back in Los Angeles, I am enjoying continuing my freelance career. Weekends include rock climbing, photography, and plenty of documentary viewings.

Ryan Prouty commented on our first Share project. Old Skool Cafe by stillmotion Amazing storytelling and great cause! I have a passion for stories / videos like this. Clearly you have a very talented cinematographer, but which camera/lenses did you use? The color and sharpness is very impressive. The production value is enormous -
