Tim Saccardo
Tim Saccardo is a comedy writer born and raised in Middletown, Rhode Island. His television credits include NBC’s "Community", TBS’s "10 Items or Less", the FX pilot "What’s Going On? with Mike Mitchell", MTV’s pop culture sketch comedy show "Popzilla", and the Comedy Central sketch pilot "This Show Will Get You High".
On the big screen, Tim wrote the short film "Shop Secret", an official selection of the 2010 Rhode Island Film Festival and several others around the country. On the web, he has written for Fox Digital Studios’ web series "Fox Fix", their comedy site Madatoms.com, YouTube’s exclusive original content channel The Station, The Huffington Post’s comedy/news site 236.com, and their Wikipedia parody site Dickipedia.org.
Tim is also a mainstay at Hollywood's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, writing and directing countless comedy shows including the monthly "Sketch Cram" and the stage version of "What’s Going On? with Mike Mitchell". He has also written and directed dozens of videos for the theatre’s website, UCBcomedy.com, one of which won him a Stony Award for Best Web Video from High Times Magazine.
