Samuel Cave is a composer from Boston, currently residing in Toronto. He started writing songs at age 16. As part of Boston’s vibrant punk rock scene during the 90′s, he made his mark first with The Trouble (Bridge 9) and later with The Explosion (Virgin/EMI). He is a graduate of Emerson College, with a degree in Audio.

During The Explosion’s 6-year-long career, Samuel Cave was their main songwriter. They released 4 albums and a single – ‘Here I Am’, which they performed on Late Night With Conan O’Brien. Their music was also featured on TV (MTV's Ashlee Simpson Show, Monday Night Football) and in video games (Burnout 3, Tony Hawk's Underground, Marvel's The Fantastic Four). The Explosion’s video game and TV credits can be seen on IMDB.
