3 months agoSteve Saraceno commented on Vimeo stutters on my MacI recently uploaded a video which seems to play well on other computers, both Mac and PC. But it stutters on my pre-Intel G5. http://www.vimeo.com/5911129 I haven't had this problem before in the year or so I've used Vimeo. I tried uploading again and sending different versions, but it still stutters. I updated my Flash player. Still stutters. Can anybody suggest anything else I might try? My other videos on Vimeo seem to play okay

3 months agoSteve Saraceno commented on SATISFACTIONThanks, Tracey. Actually, there is no "2096" preset -- I got it wrong -- I looked it up and it's the 5296Film preset emulating Kodak film stock of the same number -- preset you can find at dvinfo.net/conf/canon-xh-series-hdv-camcorders/126811-xh-custom-presets-download-library-copy.html

4 months agoSteve Saraceno commented on Ashland Softball State Championship Game 2009I laughed, I cried. Next time I'm bringing the whole family. Good tight editing. The pacing is really good. Excellent music design. I like the split screen opening, I think the movie Woodstock opened that way. Hi-def looks good. Did you color correct? It looks nicely saturated. You found all the decent shots I took, even that one of the shortstop catching the ball. I wanted to use a tripod. But chain link fences hate tripods.
