Hello
I am a textile designer who ended up studying in a visual communication program called "Storytelling". .
Jumping between two disciplines, I've just realized that other people consider me a "gaijin", or an outsider in Japanese.
For a hardcore graphic designer or an illustrator, I am not one of them. For textile or fashion people, they describe me as a graphic kind of guy.
Where should I position myself then? .
Even if I don't know how to categorize myself as a designer; however, I decided to devote my Master's degree study to textile, pattern, scenography and motion graphic.
So far, I have to say, being a gaijin is awesome!
