Ben Schamisso is a multimedia journalist and filmmaker who is currently doing print and video freelance work in Chicago. His last documentary about a family dealing with two autistic sons won Best Student Documentary at the 2012 Illinois International Film Festival. He is now producing a new film about refugee girls in the U.S.
