WHO IS SCOTT
Scott’s debut novel Diary of a Sex Addict was called "relentlessly erotic and divinely written" by Richard Labonte of Bookmarks; and Christopher Verleger of Edge called the novel a “shocking, engrossing debut…explicit and poetic.” The novel was featured on multiple hot read lists. Scott’s novel Bergdorf Boys received a Rainbow Book Award honorable mention (2012) and Joyfully Reviewed called it “provocative and intense” while Edge said “Bergdorf Boys" is a well-written, compelling portrait of fashion and romance.”
Scott’s The Jockey and The Butcher's Sons, (Coming Soon from Lethe Press) mark his shift toward literary fiction and are both set in historical time periods. Red14 Films created a short about the writing of The Butcher's Sons. His current project, the novel Skyscraper, involves an architect’s creative awakening, spurred on by an S&M relationship. His short story The German Soldier is out March, 2014.
Scott has written for Genre Magazine, TheFix.com, and he blogs for the Huffington Post. He contributed an essay to Leslie Smith’s book of essays Leaving the Rest from Magnus Press. Scott lives in Manhattan with his boyfriend, shops at Barneys, and does not eat sugar.
