Scott Gifford Studios

Scott Gifford created Scott Gifford Studios after a successful career at Sony Electronics Inc. Scott helped Sony promote the camcorder industry with the introduction of the Sony Handycam. Scott's involvement included promotional marketing activities, training and instructional videos. With the demands of travel up against a new family, Scott made an early departure from Sony after eight years.

Starting a family in the Philadelphia area and the requirements of travel with Sony led Scott to follow his dream and start his own video production company. SRG Productions began as a corporate video production company focusing on marketing and training videos. Clients included Sony, Morecom, PE Biosystems and others. In the process of developing new marketing ideas Scott attended a video production trade show. This is where Scott saw his first professional wedding video and he was impressed and inspired. Scott could see how wedding videos would be a creative endeavor fast approaching Hollywood level excitement. Back in 1998 Scott added wedding cinematography to his list of services after several years freelancing with some of the top video productions companies in the Philadelphia market. This was a new venture which allowed Scott to be creative and produce videos people would cherish for a lifetime. Scott's wedding business accounts for nearly 70% of his work today. The company name has changed to Scott Gifford Studios to reflect Scott's personal touch to family memories.
