Scott McElroy is a freelance video editor, motion graphics artist and animator. In 2011, he edited and co-wrote the documentary HIGH GROUND. The film tells the story of 11 wounded Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans who attempt to climb a 20,000ft. peak in the Himalayas. The film was directed by Michael Brown and produced by Don Hahn, producer of the Disney classics THE LION KING and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
Scott believes filmmaking is equal parts thought and process.
Scott lives in Boulder, CO with his wife and daughter. He holds B.F.A. in Film Studies and an M.A. in Broadcast Journalsim.
I live with my wonderful wife Bess in one of America's best towns, Boulder, Colo.
