Dan Whittet is a Green Building Consultant with an extensive background in all aspects of the building and design industry. He has over thirty years of experience with high performance buildings across the United States.
He helped develop the first Green Building Code for the mountain town of Telluride Colorado, built off grid solar powered homes on islands off the coast of Maine and recently was part of the team on Las Vegas CityCenter’s six connected LEED gold projects.
Now a full time resident of Laguna Beach he is an advocate for regenerative architecture, teaches LEED process and occasionally does public presentations related to sustainability. Most recently he was part of the team that included Lawrence Berkely national Lab and the USGBC developing a LEED credit for Demand Response.
