Jayanti Seiler
Jayanti Seiler is a photographer, video/film maker and installation artist. She received her BFA in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2000 and is currently pursuing her MFA in photography at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She was the recipient of the UF SA+AH Graduate Fellowship Award and the Dennis & Colette Campay Scholarship in 2008. Seiler had a solo exhibition of her video installation, "Wind Between States", at the University of Florida Focus Gallery in 2010. Her video work was also exhibited in the Washington State University exhibition, “Shifting Ground” in 2009. Photographs from her series, "Environs", will be exhibited in "Remember Then: An Exhibition on the Photography of Memory" at the Concourse Gallery at Harvard University from February 3- March 15, 2011. Her photographs have also been exhibited in the SPE Regional Conference Crossroads Exhibition at (MOCA GA) in Atlanta, the SA+AH Juried Exhibition at the University Gallery in Gainesville, FL, the WARPhaus Gallery and the FLoCAS traveling exhibition throughout Florida.
