Director, writer, producer Sergio Marcos, was born in Paraguay (1976) and raised in Spain, Pennsylvania and Oklahoma (USA). Finished high school and his BA in Marketing at Norte University in Paraguay (2000). Continued his graduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) finishing the Professional Program in Producing (2002). Sergio won a scholarship at the International School of Film and Television of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba (EICTV) for a specialization in documentary film-making (2004).
Founded his production company called Metavision in Paraguay (2005) then wrote, produced, directed and edited his first 30 min. short called FUEGO aka Got a light ? (2008). In (2009) studied Film-making at The New York Film Academy (NYFA), directing a series of 16mm short films and in (2010) studied screenwriting at The Writer's Boot Camp in Santa Monica, CA. Continued his screenwriting training at UCLA Extension where he teamed up with his classmate Alberto Portillo, creating Martillo Pictures and together produced Sergio's first US short film INSPECTOR SANCHEZ (2011).
