Serpentine (Jan Andri Zimmerli) was born in Olten/Switzerland - After travelling the globe he decided to grow with the journey of music. In 2004 he released his debut «The Tragedy Of Being Honest». Journalists described it as a mix of early pieces by the Beatles, Radiohead and Pink Floyd. At the same time the album became a delicacy on Scandinavian Indie Stations. In 2007 Serpentine followed-up with the album «Beauty Queen» - The album sold twice as good and got honored by the national radio.

Today Serpentine is back with his third album «City Soul Traveller». Musically, it has strong influences and pays tribute to the 60’s and 70’s. However, it would be too easy to label Serpentine’s latest musical accolade in the confinements of the retro sound revival. Serpentine is a musical jack of all trades and he loves exploring the outer galaxies of the musical universe.
