I'm a Los Angeles based Sound Editor who specializes in sound effects recording and editing, dialogue editing, stereo, 5.1 & 7.1 mixing. I am proficient in ProTools 9.0 and Avid Media Composer 5.5 and familiar with Final Cut Pro 6, Compressor 3 and DVD Studio 4. I am also an experienced Front of House mixer for theater and concerts with both touring and resident experience.

I also have over 1 terabyte worth of sound effects at my disposal for sound effects editing. The library is in a constant state of growth as I assemble more and more custom recordings that I make throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in March 2010 with a Master of Fine Arts in Sound Design. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Theatre & Design. In addition to postproduction sound editorial I am proficient in live sound reinforcement for theatre, concert & worship.

While at SCAD I focused much of my research on the approach to sound in contemporary feature animation (1982-present). In February 2010 I finished my thesis entitled “Sound Design in Contemporary American Feature Animation, 1982-2010.” For the project I analyzed the approach to Sound Effects, Music, Dialogue and Mix for a selection of animated feature films released by Walt Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks SKG, Blue Sky and Sony Animation.
