The Silicon Valley Leadership Group, founded in 1978 by David Packard of Hewlett-Packard, is a coalition of companies organized to involve principal officers and senior managers of member companies in a cooperative effort with local, regional, state and federal government leaders to identify and address major public policy issues affecting the economic health and quality of life in Silicon Valley. We represent 300 of Silicon Valley's most respected employers on various issues including:
