Irish-born Simon Brown is a graduate of the American Film Institute's Directing Program (2011).

His AFI thesis film FIRELIGHT is nominated for best horror short at Shriekfest, is an official selection of LA Shorts Fest, Shockerfest and Dark Carnival Film Festival, and was selected as a Blue Ribbon Finalist for the Student Emmy for Best Drama.

His spec spot "Lexus LFA-h" has been featured in STASH magazine and screened at the A-List awards.

Simon has a background in visual effects and has worked as a senior artist at Industrial Light & Magic and Weta Digital. His feature film credits include MATRIX REVOLUTIONS, STAR WARS: REVENGE OF THE SITH and ICE AGE: THE MELTDOWN.
