Simon Straetker
I am a young passionate environmentalist and filmmaker. As managing director of Pangaea Deutschland e.V. (pangaeaproject.org) I have found the perfect job to pursue my dreams of changing the world. The Pangaea Project is currently running ecological youth camps in Germany, Serbia and South Africa. Our aim is to use the power of sports to emotionally attach kids to nature, while at the same time educating them about environmental problems. The moments ‘out there’ are highly memorized by the children and they turn into ambassadors of nature, encouraging their peers to act for the planet.
My passion of filmmaking has been a great asset to our projects and I am happy to have filmed and edited over 50 videos, mostly promoting social and environmental projects around the world.
