Founded in 2010, Sinamatella Productions is an independent Film Production and Distribution company based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Our aim is to tell stories, rich in imagery, that will inspire you to get back outside.
The focus is on sports and adventures that “don’t require a motor, where reward comes in the form of hard-won grace and moments of connection between us and nature”. Consequently, Sinamatella hopes that these wild places – both out there and in our soul – will be conserved in a sustainable manner so that there will always be singletrack, perspiration, fresh air and wide open vistas. Our underlying belief is that more people outdoors equals more stoke equals greater empathy for the environment and that this contributes to conservation.
The aim is to use endorphins and adrenalin rather than exhorting or lecturing – the carrot rather than the stick!
