Sirprise!

Somebody told me I am the most girly Sir he had ever met. Confession: yes, Sir is a girl. My name is Renske Mijnheer (try to pronounce that), born in 1980 and happily living in Amsterdam since then.

So what do you do Sir?

I work as a freelancer from my studio in a former newspaper building and on location. Partly commissioned, partly independent and I give animation workshops to share the magic of the illusion of movement.

Yes Sir

Yes, Sir likes miscellaneous objects, materials and settings. I love tactile experiments and the good news is that experiments never fail. I love Sirprises, adventures and I believe in fairy tales.

Paper

Sir also has a paper with very important information on it. The Utrecht School of the Arts was so kind to give it to me in 2007. It says 'The degree of Master of Arts has been awarded to Renske Selma Mijnheer who followed an approved programme in European Media'. It has a real watermark in it.
