Krzysztof Skonieczny (born 1983) - Polish actor, off theatre and off film director, creator of the music videos, founder of artistic conglomerate - głębokiOFF, interested in an interdisciplinary approach to art.

He studied the History of Art at the University of Wrocław (2002-2004) and graduated from the Faculty of Acting at the Theatre Academy in Warsaw (2008). For his graduating performance in „They” by Witkacy he was honoured with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage Award and Jan Machulski Award for „the most interesting personality” at the XXVI Theatre Schools Festival in Łódz (PL).

He performed in films directed by Agnieszka Holland ("In Darkness", starring one of the leading roles, Oscar 2012 Academy Awards nomination), Andrzej Wajda, Magdalena Łazarkiewicz, Kasia Adamik, Michał Kwieciński, Piotr Mularuk, Alexander Williams and theatre performances by Marcin Liber, Michał Zadara, Marek Fiedor, Łukasz Kos and others. He was an actor of the Studio Theatre in Warsaw (2007-2009 ) and also collaborated with many theatres (TR, Nowy Teatr in Warsaw), also alternative ( komuna//warszawa, Teatr Usta Usta/2xU).

He is a co-founder and member of Association of Fine Artists of All Arts (with Jan Komasa, Dorota Masłowska, Roma Gąsiorowska, Marcin Cecko, Piotr Głowacki and others) and founder of artistic conglomerate - głębokiOFF. He created music videos for Jamal, Kasia Nosowska, Brodka, Myslovitz, Muzykoterapia, Projekt Warszawiak, Pogodno and others. He was awarded with Fryderyki 2012 Music Award for best music video ("Krzyżówka dnia", Brodka), Gwarancje Kultury 2012 TVP Kultura ("Nie ma cwaniaka na Warszawiaka", Projekt Warszawiak) and GRAND PRIX 20.YACH Film Festival (2011) for the best music video ("Nie ma cwaniaka na Warszawiaka", Projekt Warszawiak). His music videos took part in Future Shorts Poland screenings, were nominated in 2 categories (Best Music Video, Best Cinematography) for Plus Camerimage Festival (2011) and also in 3 categories (Grand Prix, Best Animated Video, Best Actor) for the 20.Yach Film Festival awards (2011). His music video Brodka "Krzyżówka dnia" was picked up by 4. Short Waves Film Festival. He also directed few theatre performances (e.g. about Paktofonika and theatre remix of the film by Andrzej Żuławski - On the Silver Globe) as well as short films and docs (e.g. dedicated to Bruno Schulz).

His theatrical trailer for HBO is going to be released this fall.

He is currently working on his feature-film debut.
