Once upon a time, there was, apparently, nothing - which I don't remember - and then, so I'm told, there was me.
Between then and now I can remember having been any number of "me"'s, in the sense that my memories are not continuous (I'm not even sure they're chronology is accurate), and therefore subject to their recollected contexts.
Occasionally I make films - short ones, for now - just for fun and for the sake of discovering what the medi-a/um can do as its technologies change.
Happily ever after is for children; at the end, everyone dies.
