The Sydney Latin American Film Festival aims to inspire, educate and entertain Sydney audiences with feature films, documentaries and shorts from and about the Latin American region, while raising funds and awareness for a number of vital community projects through our Community Support Program. This program recognises and financially supports the ongoing work of social justice, environmental conservation and community development organisations across Latin America and here in Australia.

The Sydney Latin American Film Festival is a not-for-profit organisation driven entirely by a volunteer crew. The individuals working under the Festival banner share a common interest in Latin American culture, film and community development. The Festival organising committee runs year-round screenings due to the ongoing demand and interest in screen-based content from Latin America.
