I'm a a 17-year-old who just finished his junior year at Interlake High School in Bellevue, Washington.
I started making films with friends while a third grader at Seattle Country Day School. In sixth grade, I premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival via a newspaper contest. Since then, my nine films have screened in over 100 festivals in the US and around the world as far away as Nepal, India, and Guam.
Last summer I shot ALONE TOGETHER, a story of shipwrecks and love. It is filmed throughout the beautiful Pacific Northwest including underwater in Lake Washington, at Deception Pass State Park, and on the 100-year-old tugboat Arthur Foss. The film stars Seattle-area actors Asher Jordan and Bria Lynn Massie. The film World-, US-, & West-Coast-premièred at three festivals the weekend of April 20, 2012. Since then it has won the top youth prize at six festivals, including the acclaimed Nashville Film Festival.
When not working on films, I'm in the International Baccalaureate program at my high school, very active in drama, and co-president of the school improv club. After high school, I plan to pursue a university film degree.
