Well, I've been doing this here media thang since 2004. I received my bachelors in Sculpture and Extend Media at VCU in 2004. My 1st gig was at WCVE Richmond PBS. I still remember how excited I was to learn how to CBS roll and wrangle cable. I began editing in 2006 then started co-producing different tv programs and documentaries in 2007. In 2009 I served as editor/consultant to the Dept. Chair of African American Studies at VCU on various video projects. I also had the privilege of teaching the fundamentals of filmmaking to some very imaginative youth through the department's PeepTHIS film camp. My video production company, The Spontaneous Creative, was born in 2009. It is an opportunity for me to freelance as well as pursue my own projects. I enjoy capturing the creative process whether it be the creation of art, awareness or opportunities for others. I have to admit when I was little I dreamed of being an ice skating spy but I can't say I'm disappointed with my current profession.
