socialwaydown.org is an non-goverment-organisation (ngo). This project was initiated by Hendrik Kempfert as an sabbatical of 6 month. He decided to travel with an 30 year old motorbike (Royal Enfield bullet 350) from Hamburg (Germany) to Cape Town (South Africa).

On the way down to the cape he visited 12 charity projects, which he supports with raised donations from serveral companies in germany. After his return, socialwaydown.org will be transformed to an active charity project.

Hendrik will give presentations with his personal experience from the trip, the people he mets, the diffrent cultures. You can also book Hendrik for events, the royalty for the event will be spent at the end of the event in a project of your choice (please have a look at betterplace.org)
