Currently a Cinema student at City College of San Francisco, aspiring to be a video editor and looking to collaborate with open-minded, genre-defying individuals. This is my 3rd year as a student in video production, I've had experience editing in Adobe Premiere and iMovie '06, but about to learn FCP and Avid. I am also an enthusiast of neurobiology and aim to create documentary pieces that integrate the social-emotional realm with science.

"Born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, Solitaire is imbued with a laid-back style and was raised in places like office cubicles, hotel lounges, Hawaii's Philippine Consulate and Open Houses (as in real estate) since the tender age of 3! From early childhood to teens, she's gained confidence from the runways of beauty pageants, learned discipline from singing and touring with the premier Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus, spoken at leadership conferences, served as a Student Body Vice President for Bay Area's Woodside High School, as well as a comprehensive sexuality peer educator and was voted "Most Spirited" on her high school's Co-Ed Competitive Cheerleading Team.

As an adult, she's worn many hats as a a part-time caregiver for seniors, a full-time caregiver in a home for Adults with Developmental Disabilities, and currently as a Student Coordinator for the Child Development and Family Studies Department at City College of San Francisco in addition to working in Early Childhood classrooms and settings.

Solitaire graduated with her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from San Francisco's California Institute of Integral Studies and continues to nurture her love for multi-disciplinary learning at City College of San Francisco. Her ability to critically think under pressure, work with different types of personalities, multi-task, be responsive to clients' needs, be resourceful with time and materials while on the floor as a Pre-K teacher transfers to any of her eclectic work environments."
