The inflatable is activated when it senses the presences of another person. It deactivates and falls to the floor after 30 seconds, or the approximate of time it would take for a viewer to lose interest and walk away.

Zimoun's sound sculptures and installations are graceful, mechanized works of playful poetry, their structural simplicity opens like an industrial bloom to reveal a complex and intricate series of relationships, an ongoing interplay between the «artificial» and the «organic».

He is interested in the artistic research of simple and elegant systems to generate and study complex behaviours in sound and motion. He creates sound pieces from basic components, often using multiples of the same prepared mechanical elements to examine the creation and degeneration of patterns.

It is a journey between many locations in various states of withdrawal and aggression. Borders become weaponized and damage is always dealt from afar. The individual is caught in the midst, unable to separate themselves, unable to define identity without place.

Der amerikanische Künstler Michael Somoroff setzt sich in seinen Arbeiten mit den drei Weltreligionen auseinander und sucht den Dialog zwischen ihnen.
In seiner Arbeit "Red Sea", die er für die Kunst-Station Sankt Peter in Köln und in Kooperation mit der Galerie Brigitte Schenk konzipierte, thematisiert er die Teilung des "Roten Meer" als Kampf zwischen Glaube und Hoffnung, Hingabe und Angst.

The American artist Michael Somoroff takes a look at his work with the three world religions and seeks a dialogue between them.
In his work "Red Sea", which he designed for the Kunst-Station Sankt Peter in Cologne and in cooperation with Galerie Brigitte Schenk, he focuses on the division of the "Red Sea" as a struggle between faith and hope, dedication and anxiety.

Sigmar Polke hat wie kaum ein anderer Künstler ganze Künstler-Generationen inspiriert. Keiner geht derart experimentell mit verschiedenen Techniken, Motiven und Materialien um wie er. Nicht umsonst zählt er zu den bedeutendsten deutschen Malern der zeitgenössischen Kunst.
In der Hamburger Kunsthalle steht eine vergessene, erst kürzlich wieder zusammengeführte Werkgruppe aus den Jahren 1974-1976: Wir Kleinbürger – Zeitgenossen und Zeitgenossinnen im Mittelpunkt, die einen zentralen Stellenwert im Werk Polkes einnimmt.

Not without reason he is one of the most important German painters of contemporary art.
The Hamburger Kunsthalle presents a forgotten, recently merged group of works from the years 1974-1976: Wir Kleinbürger - contemporaries and colleagues at the center of time, which play a central role in the work of Polke.

Jeff Koons - Made in Heaven

Jeff Koons gehört zu den bedeutenden Künstlern der 80/90er Jahre. Seine an die Pop-Art erinnernden, tonnenschweren Skulpturen gehören heute zu den modernen Klassikern der zeitgenössischen Kunst.
1994 zeigte Koons im Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam seine provokante und umstrittene Ausstellung "Made in Heaven" bei der u.a. eine Porzellan Skulptur des verstorbenen "King of Pop" Michael Jackson ausstellte. Der hier gezeigte Auszug aus dem Interview entlarvt Koons darüber hinaus aber auch als Meister der Selbstinszenierung.
