Hi, I’m Nathan. Welcome to the TapeOp-Magazine-style podcast for live audio professionals. My goal is to create a fun personal weekly show to share techniques, technology, and motivation from industry leaders. If you work in theatre, concert venues, or pretty much anywhere doing live events, then you belong to Sound Design Live.

Over the last 12 years I have lived in Austin, Denton, New York City, Lisbon, Bratislava, and Berkeley and have worked in recording studios, concert venues, theatres, and out-door festivals. I’ve read a lot of books and trade magazines over the years and I’m tired of not getting the information I want about audio technology and sound design applied in the real world. I have made this podcast to create community among audio professionals and to answer all of my burning questions. What’s your burning question?
