The Specs Howard Street Team was formed in January of 2009 to work with 89X and WRIF to provide community outreach and create web videos for each station's website as well as our own.
Since then, the street team has worked with Real Detroit Weekly, CBS Radio (AMP, The Ticket, WYCD), CW 50, The Creative Energy Alliance and more. If something big is happening in Southeast Michigan, the street team will probably be there.
Specs Howard School of Media Arts specializes in training people for careers in radio, television and graphic design.
