i enjoy filming things for fun. most of my vimeo account is used for my blog (aklivin.net), which is basically an insight into what my friends and i are doing, living in alaska. in winter, most of the videos are snowboard related. outside of that, it'll be random. skating, fishing, other outdoor things, and anything else we do.

the fisheye stuff is from my gopro, regular lens is from my powershot. i've got the hero 2 and normally just shoot in 720p @ 30fps

for editing i've been using corel video studio for about a year and a half and i'm happy with it. pretty simple like movie maker/imovie, but much more powerful and with more options like color correction/etc. as long as your computer is up to handling HD in the first place, video studio does great with it
