The band was formed in 2007 and have been working on writing, arranging and refining the sound of 'Starling'. The band members are all well experienced and trained musicians coming from other bands and backgrounds, now fusing their varied styles together. The outcome has produced the raw excitement of a tight four-piece, with the emotion and grandeur of a large string section. Their music is anthemic, uplifting alternative rock with an epic and emotional edge. Since recording a demo in March 2007, the band have written and recorded a full-length album at Peak Studios (peak-studios.co.uk) between February - June 2009. This includes 11 brand new songs with a live string section. The full work has been mixed with Sam Gibson at Chapel Lane Studio's.
