When I was 18 I had an accident with my bike while carrying a parrot. I had two operations on my arm and steel inside. My doctor told me that I couldn't join the army for two years, so while I was out for a cup of coffee with a friend of mine and wondering what I could do these two years my friend showed me some vacation photos. While looking at them I found a black and white photo showing his girlfriend in front of a rock in the sea.
That moment I realised what I wanted to do with my life: capturing moments.Ten years after that accident I made my dream come true.
I believe that a Photographer must be like a mirror: reflecting what he has in front of him.
Weddings give you the opportunity to be a photojournalist, a fashion and a portrait photographer at the same time. I could only find this challenge, working with real people, being part of their families, being part of their memories.
....the parrot is still alive.
