Richard fell into media production after being one of the few at his school who knew how to use iMovie, quickly becoming the go-to-geek for ‘making things’ on Macs. After moving from his hometown of Orange to begin his degree in Media Arts and Production at UTS, he has collaborated on various shorts, docos and other digital media projects. Richard’s debut documentary ‘Wild Things’ was recently selected from over 2300 entries to be one of 116 films screen at Flickerfest International Short Film Festival. Following this directing debut, short 'Great Day' which he produced under the direction of fellow UTS student Hannah May Reilly was chosen as one of the top 16 films for Tropfest 2013. Richard now works as a freelance media artist while continuing to create his own projects and collaborating on other independent productions.
