Stomper is a curatorial project exploring the possibilities of new-music and new-media, including the mediums of film, animation, photography, music, live performance, and fine art. Stomper facilitate the cross-pollination of ideas between these media through bringing together artists and practitioners that posses a synergy in their work. Ultimately Stomper makes possible a culture of collaborative practice, and cross-artform incubation through events, live performance, exhibitions, and online platforms.
Through offering artists and practitioners the opportunity for cross-media collaboration, Stomper is creating a virtual and active community of artists who may not usually work together. Stomper hopes to effect an increase in audiences for individual artforms through this cross-media and cross-artsform collaboration.
