In the last few years I got interested in timelapse photography as a hobby. I became enamored with the act of capturing the motion of people, objects and life in motion from a different perspective of time. Up to this point, as a low level hobbyist entertaining himself with time lapse clips, I honestly wasn't really focused on high level video production. I knew it would/will take awhile for me to learn all aspects that I want to and it is certainly a learning process. Up until recently I had only been using Canon P&S cameras with the CHDK firmware. I even DIYd some kitchen timers into motion heads. In the past year I have invested in my hobby and upgraded a bit to a Canon crop sensor, a couple of lenses, an Emotimo TB3 and built my own custom motorized slider. I've also connected with local and more experienced photographers which has really jumped my learning curve forward.
So now that the potential for the image quality is much better I am learning more about post editing now too. including learning to combine clips into longer dynamic sequences.
So follow meand you will see me grow at this and while I learn to make these time lapse vids more entertaining for you and I.
I encourage and request, comments, constructive criticism, opinionated input, etc.
