I was born in Vietnam. Soon thereafter, my family fled the country and landed in a small city in North Carolina. I grew up on chopsticks, hot pot, rice, Cheerwine, sweet tea, calabash, cow pastures, and Wal-Mart.
Over the years my job positions have included: programmer, waiter, factory worker, animal balloon artist, blackjack dealer, software trainer, 1-hour photo lab technician, cashier, grocery bagger, Gap employee, and bookstore seller.
Currently I do none of these things. Amen.
