Newcastle born and bred, loved photography since an early age when my dad give me my first camera (Kodak Instamatic). Favourite photography is landscape, nature, history, ww2 aircraft but anything that catches my eye I will do my best to capture.
I am a volunteer director of a preservation group that is trying to take over a former 13 Group Fighter Command Headquarters Bunker who controlled the airspace from North of the Humber, all of Scotland, North Wales, Northeast England and Cumbria and Northern Ireland during the Battle of Britain. My nickname is 'Stuffy' after the head of the RAF Fighter Command (Sir Hugh Stuffy Dowding). I was christened that name because when I put on my ww2 RAF Officers Uniform I am told I have a certain likeness to him.
I am often at Blyth Battery promoting the bunker and attending 1940's events dressed as a ww2 RAF Fighter Pilot.
