Jean Vouté Pratt

A professional stylist, Jean Vouté Pratt is the founder and CEO of Gift Girl, LLC, and author of the popular blog StyleObserver.

Jean began her foray into the fashion world at a young age, when she would accompany her mother to trunk shows for couture designers like Valentino and Oscar de la Renta. As a young girl, Jean would join her father at his trading desk at Salomon Brothers, giving gift advice to his associates, where she quickly gained a reputation for her spot-on suggestions.

After graduating Boston College, Jean put her love for fashion to work at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City. It was there she resurrected her gift suggestion hobby, recommending gifts to her male friends and clients for the women in their lives. Her success led to her reputation as the go-to girl for gift suggestions and she soon turned her hobby into a business.

Blending her knowledge of fashion with her instinctive knack for finding the perfect gift for any woman, Jean founded GiftGirl in 2005. Her innate ability to bridge the gap between 7th Avenue and Main Street gained her a dedicating following amongst both the fashionable elite and the fashion challenged. A sought after presenter, Jean lends her talents to fashion and style events across the country and most recently appeared on Access Hollywood, demonstrating how to achieve the “Sex and the City” look for less.
