Hi! =D I live in Osaka, Japan, where I happily teach Engrish to students of all ages and levels of enthusiasm (or lack thereof). Before, I lived in a boring town in Ontario, Canada, where there was absolutely nothing to do except go to the movies. (It was, however, a great place to play WoW all day, every day, occasionally looking out the window to observe the changing seasons. I didn't have much of a life before I moved to Japan. =)P )
A rambling of factoids: My family and I came from Jamaica, which is why the accents you'll hear in some of my videos aren't very Canadian. I love being creative and I appreciate creativity in others, especially when it involves photography, music, animation, or video. I love meeting and interacting with new people, but I'm not so good at staying in touch. I have to pee all the time these days. When I get to liking a certain food, I eat it to death, then can't look at it again for a while. (R.I.P. sizzling rice soup. =( )
I've been playing computer games since the Commodore 64, and I'm still rather in love with that whole scene, though I don't game anymore for the sake of actually doing something else in my life. I'm very meticulous and I have bizarre, anal-retentive ideas about cleanliness, yet I have no trouble skipping baths. I remember my dreams every night, and they're just as immersive and enjoyable (though not as concrete) as what happens in my waking life. I feel as if I'm living with one foot in this world and one foot out of it.
I believe everything happens perfectly, and that every event in our lives is a reflection of something going on inside us. I believe the world is changing for the better and is accelerating toward something great; I've noticed people becoming more and more compassionate, considerate, and aware over the course of my lifetime. My enthusiasm for photography and everything else I enjoy is dim compared to the excitement and aliveness I feel when seeing evidence of that acceleration.
Now I have to pee.
