NSDF (Nashville Swing Dance Foundation) is a local, non-profit organization dedicated to bringing all types of dance to the Nashville community for a low price. We strive to create an environment of fun and welcome! We tend to focus on Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Blues dancing but are open to all dancers! At our dances you will find an awesome mix of people from all over, and some of the best dancers and folks around!
Right now, beginner lessons are available before our regular dances (see the dances section). Most of our dances are DJ'd by local DJs, and occasionally we also have a local live band.
We are organized by local dancers who run, organize and promote our dances. We are also supported by grants and by taking up a small door fee at our dances.
We would love to have you out dancing with us! Talk to any of our dancers or board members to find out how you can help out (we always need volunteers to watch the door or learn to DJ!) You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We also have a monthly email we send out.
