The word symphony is derived from a Greek word, which in essence means "sounding together" or "harmony." Today, a symphony is a musical story created by a composer to be presented by musicians to an audience. When an orchestra presents a symphony, all the players—the conductor, woodwinds, brass, strings and percussion—work together to present a creative musical story that represents the best possible talents of each player.
Much like an orchestra, film-making involves the collaborative efforts of many creative minds and requires a similar passion and dedication to creation that musicians give to their music and performances. It is under this philosophy that Symphonic Gecko Media intends to create and present unique stories that represent the collected ability of individuals who have gathered together to express their growing talents through art, creativity, and teamwork. Created in 2008 by J. Cooper Arbios, owned and led by the same, Symphonic Gecko Media seeks to tell interesting, engaging stories through multiple creative mediums.
