SynAesthetic Time Machine

SynAesthetic Time Machine can most easily be described as a live cinematic experience. Using a combination of specialized software, synthesizers, drum machines, midi instruments and video gear SynAesthetic Time Machine creates a fully synchronized audio-visual performance in real time before an audience. Members Adam Barfield, Bryan Dodson, and Michelle Penland Dodson each manipulate various devices creating a multimedia collage that takes the audience on a trip through time and space. Lighting, video and sound are all kept perfectly synchronized while being created and manipulated improvisationally on stage. The SynAesthetic Time Machine represents a profound development in the production of contemporary music, one that defies conventional techniques. It is a truly unique experience.
