Transportation for Washington
Washington State faces a transportation crisis. Transit service is being slashed leaving Washingtonians stranded. Gas tax revenues are diminishing in buying power, leaving our bridges and roadways in a state of decay. Over half of our state’s greenhouse gas emissions stem from transportation, but revenue challenges leave Washingtonians with fewer transportation choices.
We believe Washingtonians deserve better! We can rise to these challenges and grow our economy by investing in our existing transportation system, creating more transit choices, and building transit-oriented communities. It is time to move Washington forward and pass comprehensive transportation reform.
