Taberna la Montillana
Situated right in the centre of Cordoba, only five minutes on foot from the old quarter, Taberna la Montillana tries to go back to the roots of the typical Cordoban tavern. It is an ideal meeting place where locals rub shoulders with those visiting the city, while the “tapas” and “fino” wine flow freely.
The Taberna la Montillana kitchen produces a traditional menu featuring, among other mouth-watering dishes, Cordoba Salmorejo, flamenquin (rolled pork fritter) or bull’s tail, with chef’s specialities every day which vary according to the time of year and the seasonal products available. All the meals are lovingly prepared by chef Antonio Jimenez, one of the most promising young chefs in Spanish and Andalusian cuisine.
