Video for Gemini by Boards of Canada; the opening track from the album 'Tomorrow's Harvest'. Inspired by the style of the album and envisaged as a 1970s film opening sequence. Assembled from a mixture of various free / public footage extensively edited, alongside my own design & recordings - credit and thank you to Boards of Canada, and to all originators of the source material used. The video is a tribute work.

The above clip is the official trailer for the feature-length documentary, which highlights the band during their heyday in the 1970s. Alan Duff Berman's videos: http://www.alanbermanmusic.com/abm_video.php This is a rehearsal of five haiku songs by California composer, cellist, and inventor of the Experiments in Musical Intelligence computer system, David Cope. The songs were published in 1976 and feature some very smart writing for the guitar that doesn't capitalize on the usual idiomatic elements non-guitarist composers fall back on (except for open strings, that is). Julia is superb with this repertoire and she is a joy to perform with. Come to our concert Saturday, 15 June 2013, at the Glendale Central Library Auditorium.

Immigration is a fundamental part of London's history. This film looks at what it was like for different types of immigrants arriving around the 1960s and the conditions they lived with. It centres around a townhouse in North London which would have been converted into bedsits and rented to immigrants having difficulty finding housing, often with a few families to each floor. The film is a mixture of 2D and 3D sets, all drawn and animated by hand. Stopmotion filmed in Dragon, edited in FCP. Made for my Third Year FMP at UCA Maidstone.
