Our latest tool for collecting superior, actionable data in the busy school environment. If you want to gather data on your students’ attitudes, behavior, experiences and opinions, you’re usually stuck using one-time paper-and-pencil or online questionnaires. But these disrupt the school day, eat up instruction time, and measure very little beyond what students were thinking and feeling during the time they took the survey. What if you could have highly accurate data every day on your students that didn’t even disrupt the daily routine? Now you can. iNoted integrates seamlessly into the daily bustle of the school day by sending a few multiple-choice questions to student devices, at the times you decide. What you get is powerful data from students in their natural environment, with experiences still fresh in their minds. Instead of asking typical self-report survey questions like “My teacher cares about me” (answer choices: Very much like me, somewhat like me, not like me) we ask about one specific experience at a time: “How much did you feel cared for today by your teachers?” Send this question to all of your students at random times over a week or month and you get much more accurate information about what’s really going on. Visit www.inoted.com for more detailed information!

MU Play&Learn is the online atelier run by MU. It's the place where you can learn more about MU’s program or related events, and participate in activities. At muplaynlearn.nl you will find apps, workshops and video tutorials. You can play with the creative digital tools used by contemporary artists. In the classroom or at home. On your mobile or your laptop. www.muplaynlearn.nl Who is it for? MU Play&Learn is aimed at teachers, students, and anyone who is interested in digital art and culture. For young people, but certainly also for older people. In the initial phase we are focusing mainly on secondary education, intermediary vocational education (MBO) and Universities of Applied Science (HBO). In addition we are busy developing new applications especially for children and senior citizens. How does it work? Behind each ‘window’ on our homepage you will find a different project. It could be a workshop, an online art project or a video tutorial. Would you prefer a more narrowed down search? Use the filters in the menu in the top right corner. In principle you can do all the programs online. If you are interested in offline teaching in the classroom, contact MU. More about MU Play & Learn MU Play&Learn is a place where MU experiments with new programs. We are not doing this alone, we are working with various partners, artists and schools, businesses and institutions. The objective is to share everything we do very openly with our audience, and also to stimulate our audience to share their view of the world with us. Moreover, we are keen to investigate whether the latest digital resources could also help to bring generations together. During the first phase, Play&Learn will consist of various projects, such as this website, FlipLab and Open School. This range of activities will be expanded over the next few years. Link between generations
In MU’s FlipLab we are developing new tools and methods that can be used in a playful manner to pass on some knowledge about new forms of art and visual culture, not only to the young, but also to a (growing) more elderly target group. The FlipLab is based on the idea of the Upside Down University, where seniors learn from juniors by intensive cooperation between the two groups. Open character
All formats, methods and tools developed within Play&Learn will be made freely available to the public; online and offline. In Open School, twice a year we share our knowledge and experience with professionals, students, artists, designers and all those otherwise interested. Partners MU Play & Learn is a collaboration between MU, SintLucas, Aloysius/De Roosten, Tilburg University, FIBER and mediapartner Eindhovens Dagblad. Website: Freshheads Contact and info: Vivian van Gaal, vivian@mu.nl Made possible by: Provincie Noord-Brabant and BKKC Impulsgelden.
