Lights, camera, action! This video is William's way of fun with his groomsmen as a homage to "Pulp Fiction". The boys were dressed in Samuel L. Jackson's inspired wigs, and toy guns. With William starring as "Da Boss", going to get his lovely queen, Diana. As film buffs ourselves, we couldn't help but crackle along with his "tasty hamburger - Royale with Cheese" line. Kudos on your effort guys! :) Diana started her morning very relaxed and chill, as an artist herself, she made all her decorations as seen at church, all personalised for their special once in a lifetime day. We loved the idea of Chinese calligraphy as part of the gatecrash, having William to declare his love for Diana in "old school" art style. Their church ceremony was a close affair, with William and Diana being witty with their marriage vows. As their pastor asked Diana, "Will you take William as your lawfully wedded husband...?" She exclaimed proudly and loudly, "Will... yes I will!" William and Diana, thanks for having us as a part of your celebrations, we adored every single moment and loved how you both were so involved and yet meticulous in the planning and setting up of your big day(s). And a big thank you also to introducing us to "Goat Rodeo" and opening us up to bluegrass music genre for wedding videos! :D XOXO, Rekord Haus Team Website: www.rekordhaus.com.sg Blog: www.rekordhausblog.tumblr.com/ Email: sales@rekordhaus.com.sg 'LIKE' us on facebook.com/rekordhaus

The book will be available for purchase at the venue, and book-signing will commence immediately after the performance. I feel so lucky that I need to pinch myself that I get to photograph and document so many fabulous artists when they tour our little town. It is always so special when you meet a unique international artists like Amanda Palmer, that directly connects with her fans. I have been documenting her shows in Melbourne from intimate solo gigs at Spiegeltent, wild stage shows at The Forum Theatre, performing with her band, The Grand Theft Orchestra and the band that made her such a superstar, The Dresden Dolls. Tonight was might have billed as just a humble book reading for her latest opus 'The Art Of Asking' but we got to see Amanda perform solo, with her husband and literary giant Neil Gaiman, a gorgeous duet with Tom Dickins and a performance from The Bedroom Philosopher aka Justin Heazlewood. Someday when you're lying where I am, you'll finally get it, beauty. We are so much bigger than another one can ever see but trying is the point of life so don't stop trying promise me.

                • The Clean - Tally Ho @ The Corner Hotel, Richmond (22nd Jan 2014)

                  02:55

                  from Carbie Warbie / Added

FILMED BY CARBIE WARBIE! http://www.carbiewarbie.com Prime architects of the Flying Nun sound, The Clean have influenced everyone from Pavement, Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo, Real Estate to the current crop of Australian jangle pop like The Twerps. Named by Pitchfork as "the Halley’s comet of indie-rock", The Clean recently toured the USA to celebrate the first ever vinyl edition of their classic Anthology on Merge Records. What can be said about The Clean? In 1978, they were the seeds of New Zealand punk and the reason for the founding of the mighty Flying Nun label. A truly magical band who are as vital as ever, The Clean have carved out a big sandbox for everyone to play in. Their influence resonated not only in their homeland but around the world, and can be heard loud and clear in the new generation of indie bands who have The Clean’s unique blend of homemade garage rock, hook-filled melodies, and psychedelic experimentalism, deeply etched into their DNA. So what’s the sound? It’s completely theirs but draws on everything from the psychedelic paste of Barrett/early Floyd to vintage Velvets propulsiveness to almost everything else under the sun. They created both full studio sound and lo-fi recordings before, during, and after the various waves of the 4-track revolution, making both recording modes work with no loss of the band’s identity. As far as other influences, you can hear Arthur Lee, Shirley Collins, and the Rolling Stones, among others, but it’s never a kind of forced appropriation; while some bands seem to say, “Look at my record collection,” in the case of The Clean, it’s organic, seamless, and inimitable. The Clean’s story is on-again/off-again purely by design. It suits the trio’s creative desires and keeps them clear of the machinery that threatened to interfere with that process from the moment they threatened to get awfully popular awfully quickly over thirty years ago. The Clean’s modern age has seen them splitting time and hemispheres: David Kilgour has a reputable solo catalogue, and recently released End Times Undone with his band The Heavy Eights on Merge Records; Robert Scott has The Bats and a new solo album, The Green House, out on Flying Nun; and Hamish Kilgour has been an endearing and enduring fixture in New York City, playing with assorted combos and recently releasing his solo debut, All Of It And Nothing, via Ba Da Bing Records. Lately The Clean's David Kilgour has been telling interviewers that this will be the band's last ever tour. We certainly hope not because looking around at this gig tonight at the Corner Hotel, there so much joy on the faces on everybody in that sweltering packed out room. Well ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN but I want to scream out on the top of my lungs is TALLY HO! For more information about The Clean: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Clean/42812319589
