Cycle World & jeffstaple presents "Resurrecting a Ruckus" Designer jeffstaple, founder of Staple Design and Reed Space in New York City, regularly made his way around Manhattan on his trusted 2002 Honda Ruckus scooter—until last year when, according to Jeff, the scooter went “completely kaput.” The scooter was subsequently parked inside Reed Space and, over time, became a permanent fixture in the innovative boutique. When the lack of two-wheeled transportation left a marked void within the designer, it was time to bring his trusted steed back to life. True to Staple form, instead of arranging simple repair work, he made the call to Cycle World and some friends in Los Angeles and set a plan in motion to have his tired ride rebuilt, bolt by bolt, from the ground up. This is the Staple Ruckus. The Staple Ruckus was built to Jeff’s vision and design specs, which included large knobby tires for the unforgiving NYC roads, a high-performance 66cc sports-kitted engine, Yoshimura R&D exhaust, a clean luggage rack for storage complete with Yoshida & Co. Porter luggage, larger hydraulic disc brake up front, and the signature Jeff Staple Pigeon colorway. Once completed, the ruckus was brought back to Reed Space for its maiden voyage with Staple at the helm. “I almost forgot how much fun it was to ride a Ruckus,” Staple commented as he recalled the excitement he felt when he first rode the Ruckus around the city.” In celebration of the resurrected machine, Cycle World and Staple Design threw an unveil party on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Reed Space in New York City. “Anytime we can help someone get back on two wheels, we want to help” said Associate Publisher, Marketing for Bonnier Motorcycle Group Garrett Kai. “The joy of riding is what we all live for at Cycle World, and we are pumped that we could help Jeff with the rebuild of his Ruckus.” Look for the Staple Ruckus on display at Reed Space or zooming through the busy streets of New York the next time you are in the city.

http://www.unitriders.com http://www.facebook.com/unitriders http://www.twitter.com/unitclothing European FMX legend Tom Pagès has seen the highs and lows of freestyle motocross more than most. Within the first two years of his FMX career, Tom and his brother Charles had gone from riding in their backyard to appearing before the entire world at X Games and X-Fighters events. The two brothers were among the very first riders to land the incredible frontflip on motocross bike, as well as attempt various other ground-breaking tricks. They were considered some of the world's best FMX riders, a position that most aspiring freestyle motocross athletes can only dream of achieving. Unfortunately Tom had lost sight of the true meaning of riding, and in the following few years chose to take a step back from the spotlight and mainstream competitions. He simply wanted to enjoy riding again and focus on the things really mattered. In 2010, Tom and Charles made a comeback, but this time on their own terms. Tom has started focusing on building his trick repertoire without the Backflip, which he had once mastered, instead pushing the progression of a series of right-way-up tricks such as the Volt. Another trick that has brought Tom attention is his incredible Whip. Since appearing in the newest instalment of the On The Pipe film series with one of the world's biggest Turndown Whips Tom has turned heads throughout the industry and earned himself an invite to X Games Best Whip this year. Tom is excited about all of the new opportunities in front of him, and even moreso that this time he’s riding with his own style. did a little edit myself. random. raw. rough?- don't take it seriously. All Replay XD on board. There are good angles and footage in there though. Got a question about the driving? Just ask! The rear facing cam is kinda whack, but it helps contextualize the other footage so i kept it. running some 500 tread-wear Nitto Motivos (last forever, grip good too!) just not much smoke. Don't make fun of me! Thanks to Drift Colorado for having me out to judge and drive their final round of the year.

ok. its not philosophical or investigative at all, but i thought it was funny and cool how each person acts while in the passenger seat of the drift car, including myself. this was filmed on my Replay XD camera during the Nitto Tire Steve Aoki birthday bash event at the Long Beach Convention Center. REALLYYY small course, but it did the job. Steve Aoki drove my car a bit too, got some figure 8s down. This was my competition car too, very fast haha. Demo car out of country. Video of Aoki driving will be up this week. Lotsa footy, dont know how I am going to sort that yet.
